Smoke on the water is an awesome song

u cud play "here is Gone" by Goo Goo Dolls if you tune your guitar to C#,G#,C#.G#,C#,F starting from the top(thickest) string all the way down to F for the bottom (thinnest) string. try it?! its really fun. just be careful not to tune the bottom string too quickly since its such a high note...F4, just pull it and slowly tune it up and u shud hav no worryz! =D

if u tune it right, its amazingly simple to play and very fun, especially the intro.

heres a free guitar tuner. all u need is a mic and place it near ur guitar while u pluck strings.
