Also, knowing someone's name isn't bad, it can't do any real harm.

Yeah, people didnt like how starcraft 2 worked out, but people still used fake names like my bro, i plan on using my real name for starcraft 2 no big deal.

I'd have to say, posting my irl name would give me pause. My first concern is the possibility that I'd tick some narb off in-game, and then start getting hate calls/mail/bombs What would my parents say to that :O Needless to say, I don't usually take a lot of risks...

Honestly using your First/Last name wouldn't do any harm. I mean unless you have a totally off-the-wall name such as Oreatolern Miskatoe then you should/would be fine most likely. There's so many people that share names it's not even funny, even if you think you have a "Rare" last name I bet someone out there has the same first/last name.

But that's just my opinion.
