Armoured Zombies guide (One of the fastest melee training methods ingame)

Guide to Armoured Zombies

I can achieve roughly 60k-70k xp an hour.
Using prayer with high stats you should pass 100k xp an hour.
EDIT: I forgot to add that these are members only.. Sorry f2p, no easy xp for you.

Requirements
70 attack/strength/defence (For decent xp/hr)
Salve amulet enchanted (For +20% to your accuracy and damage)
60+ Prayer and Chivalry unlocked (If praying for extra xp)
68 Summoning (I CANNOT stress how useful this is.. Not really a requirement but HIGHLY suggested)
Defender of varrock must be done for entry to the Armoured Zombies.
Why: They are some of the fastest melee experience possible in the game. They also have common drops of planks, pure essence, and charms to offer a side incentive.
Where: Under the chaos temple, southeast of bounty hunter. You enter through the little trapdoor.

What to bring
(From best to worst)

For the prayer method
Head: Helm of neitiznot/Proslyte helm/Initiate helm
Amulet: Salve amulet (e)/Salve amulet
Torso: Proslyte plate/Initiate plate
Legs: Proslyte platelegs/Initiate platelegs
Boots: Dragon boots/Rune boots
Gloves: Barrows gloves/Rune gloves/Adamant gloves/Bracelet of regeneration
Weapon: Abbysal whip (For att/def)/Saradomin Sword (For str)/ Dragon scimitar/Dragon long?
Shield: Any god book/Elysian/Dragonfire shield/Blessed Spirit shield/Spirit shield/Dragon squareshield/Rune kiteshield
Cape: Skilcape trimmed/ God Cloak (The type obtainable from clues)/ Untrimmed Skillcape
Ring: Beserker ring/Warrior ring/Ring of Life (I have the RoL up as the best ring in the laid back method – This is because most people don’t pay as much attention as they do when they’re praying, so they might get low hp and die)

For the more laid back method (Once again I highly recommend this method if you have bunyip – you’ll be able to just check on runescape every few minutes instead of constant prayer watching)
Also.. I would like to state: IF you bring a ring of life and have 90 or higher health, you cannot die here. I would highly recommend fulfilling both of those asap.

Prayer method
Summon bunyip, sip your pots when they restore to base levels. Just pray melee, and your best strength prayer (Or chivalry/piety if you have it)
Climb back up ladder to altar for prayer recharges
Laid back method
Just summon bunyip, sip your pots when they restore to base levels

What to pick up
I personally pick up all of the planks and pure essence, ignoring all the herbs/gems except for ranarrs.

charms are always good to pick up, you might want to add that.

@Pop, Piety is helpful but not that much better than chivalry. I personally have both but don't pray regardless
